New Synergy: RETOOL x Green Deal-NET podcasts

We are excited to announce a new collaboration between the RETOOL project and the podcast How Green is your Deal?, by the project GreenDeal-NET

In the third season of the podcast, RETOOL researchers are discussing with the host Jana Gheuens about democratic and climate challenges, european climate assemblies and more with aim to explore not only which decisions are made, but also who makes them. 

This first episode with Diarmuid Torney, associate professor at Dublin City University, focuses on the challenges democracies and climate action face, and how democratic innovations can address them both. From citizens’ assemblies to scientific advisory bodies, new democratic approaches are emerging that aim to include more people and societal groups in climate policymaking. But do they actually lead to faster, fairer action, or do they risk slowing things down when time is already running out?
